“จิตรกรรมลายทองร่วมสมัย” เป็นการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานด้านจิตรกรรมแบบไทยประเพณี ด้วยการคลี่คลายเทคนิควิธีการจาก งานลายรดน้ำ งานลายทองและงานกำมะลอ ซึ่งเป็นงานพุทธศิลป์อันทรงคุณค่า มีเอกลักษณ์ไทยและความวิจิตรงดงามด้วยฝีมือบรมครูช่าง นำมาแสดง ความคิด อารมณ์และ ความรู้สึกเกี่ยวกับความศรัทธาตามทัศนคติส่วนตน ด้วยเรื่องราวความฝันและจินตนาการในดินแดนหิมพานต์ อันเป็นทิพยสถานที่พุทธศาสนิกชนหลายคนมุ่งที่จะสัมผัสถึงความปิติสุข ความวิจิตรงดงาม และความอัศจรรย์ในดินแดนอุดมคติแห่งนี้

​Contemporary LaiThong Painting is a creative work of Thai traditional painting, product of visual art, developed from gilded lacquer work, LaiThong work and painted gilded lacquered work, which are valuable Buddhist art. Great teachers and masters of Thai art have created these works of art with elaboration. They reveal a distinctive Thai characteristic.
This thesis project has adopted the ancient techniques of LaiThong art to express ideas, emotions and beauty in accordance to the artist’s personal thoughts. The contents of the work is based on the artist’s concept of stories in the mythical Himapan forest, which is a supernatural ideal place that many Buddhists dream to see and experience its magical beauty and miracle.
